Our planet, or rather the biosphere, is likened to a vast self-regulating organism. Population explosion, depletion of elements for the use of “human evolution”, climate altering events and a Catastrophic Pandemic. Nature is a colossal force that if disregarded, will fight back.
The ancient symbol of the tree has been found to represent physical and spiritual nourishment, transformation, liberation, union and fertility. Trees are some of the oldest known living organisms on earth. They burn, they come back; they get cut down, they grow again. Even surrounded by chaos, they make you believe that there is still hope.
I believe that trees are powerful symbols of growth and resurrection is my stimulus for this show of work. Each piece shows a different state of a tree and still the symbol and beauty of what each represents.

Fire burns of chaos in a beauty and natural rotation of life.
The soul of a loved one can be felt in the face looking back. Inspired by the Hoia Baciu Forest in the Transylvania region of Romania.
Inspired by the trees of the Aokigahra Forest in Japan. The old spirits and ghosts of this forest engulf the land and world around it.
The vein of the tree remains strong even when it’s skin is mangled. It still can stay connected to the earth and grow again. It’s connection to nature remains.
The foliage of nature inspired this small piece. So much can be said looking up at a tree.
The chaos of color and structure with a metallic strength holding on for dear life.
This piece was inspired by the beauty of a single fall leaf in a dirty alley. The beauty it had among the pollution .
The base of a multi trunk tree has such beauty to me. It is where the beginning starts from the ground and gains its strength for decades.
This piece embraces a nightmare and guides you through the forest to the light.
The double tree symbolizes the individuation process in which the inner opposites in ourselves unite. The strength of two is stronger than any single being.
This piece is an attempt at the subtlety of the unknown.
Even in the world of cold and ice, strength is still present. Surrounded in blues and silvers, the spire stands tall in the unforgiving.
“Red-light door” illuminates a forbidden entry to an unknown world.
